1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the First Due Co. platform (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including individual subscribers, team administrators, and department accounts.
2. Description of Service
First Due Co. provides AI-powered firefighter training tools including scenario-based size-up training, quiz engines, exam preparation, daily company drills, and related educational content. The Service is intended as a supplemental training tool and does not replace hands-on training, live fire training, or department-mandated certification programs.
3. Account Registration
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
4. Subscriptions & Billing
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly at $7.99/month for full access. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice.
5. Training Disclaimer
IMPORTANT: First Due Co. is a supplemental training and study tool. It does not replace official certification courses, hands-on training, live fire training, or any training required by your department, state, or certifying body. Training content is based on NFPA standards and IFSTA materials but may not reflect your specific department's SOPs or local requirements. Always follow your department's policies and procedures on the fireground.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on the platform, including questions, scenarios, drills, images, and software, is owned by First Due Co. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission. References to NFPA standards and IFSTA materials are for educational purposes only.
7. User Conduct
You agree not to: share your account credentials, attempt to access other users' data, use the Service for any unlawful purpose, attempt to reverse-engineer the platform, or scrape content from the Service. Violation may result in account termination.
8. AI-Generated Content
Portions of our content are generated or enhanced using artificial intelligence. While we strive for accuracy and review content for quality, AI-generated material may occasionally contain errors. Users should verify critical information against authoritative sources (NFPA standards, IFSTA textbooks, department SOPs).
9. Limitation of Liability
First Due Co. is provided “as is” without warranty. We are not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses resulting from the use of training content on this platform. In no event shall our liability exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the preceding 12 months.
10. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for information on how we collect, use, and protect your data.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
